Shepherd's Crook is a video game concept set in an apocalyptic future where humanity created an empire of wondrous technology. Then it crashed and burned. Now Iceland is overrun with werewolves. Whether or not werewolves were created by humans is unknown and doesn't really matter as they were exploited by them. They remember the cage and rage. A few scarred, greyed elders even remain from that time. There are several different packs of werewolves, and they often fight among themselves for territory, killing the humans that are in the way.
The genre is post-apocalyptic with an ambiguous blend of sci-fi and magic elements, for what is magic but science that is not understood.
