The Food Bowl Festival is a sustainable food festival and farmers' market. The festival is focused on sourcing food from local farms and foraging from the local area.
Visitors can enjoy meals created from local produce, shop the local produce and attend workshops about finding and creating sustainable food sources.
The festival promotes sustainability by sourcing food locally so it doesn’t have to travel as far, thus reducing the food’s carbon footprint. This does not only include traditional commercially grown produce but also unusual foods produced by the local environment such as Lilly Pillies, Finger Limes, and even the humble dandelion which can be found nearly anywhere.
